About the Founder

Shaun is Certified Public Accountant, experienced controller, and CFO with over a decade of experience working with start-ups managing their finance and accounting functions, budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow management, and taxes.

Before founding Flip The Switch, Shaun began his career in the financial services groups of TD Bank and Macquarie Group where he worked directly with Firm leadership to meet compliance, financial and regulatory reporting obligations among subsidiaries of the holding companies. From there, he moved to the retail and ecommerce industries. He served as the Director of Finance at Resonance, a technology start-up developing a platform for fashion designers to reduce waste in design and production processes. As the Controller at Cushnie, he oversaw the finance and accounting operations, and was responsible for issuance of financial statements to the board of directors and investors.

Working across multiple industries and with businesses at varying stages of growth, Shaun has acquired a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to help take your business to the next level.

Shaun is a proud graduate of the NYU Stern School of Business where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
